Product Review: Dr Bronner’s Rose Castile Bar Soap

by / October 17, 2014 Reviews No Comments

Since our post on our favourite bar soaps, I finally got round to testing one of Dr Bronner’s organic, fair trade Castile Bar Soaps. I decided on the rose scent, just to try something different.

Texture-wise, this soap is a wonderful everyday body soap. In fact, it’s the soap that I usually reach for in the shower because I like its moderate lather, and it’s not harsh. It cleans effectively, which is welcomed after a sweaty gardening session. I have a few different bar soaps sitting in my soap trays, used depending on what the mood calls for.

One thing that I’m not too fond of is the scent. I would recommend almond instead. While the rose scent is from a natural source, it’s not the type of rose that I prefer.

Give it a go! Available at Bud Cosmetics.
